Surfing

 Sligo is one of Europe's surf hotspots, and although Rosses Point isn't a surf beach, we are ideally located as a central base - perfect for exploring a few of the less busy spots. Strandhill, Lislarry and Streedgah are all within 20mins from Rosses Point, with Enniscrone, Easky, Rosnowlagh and Bundoran not too far either. There are also a few new big wave spots being discovered around Sligo, including Mullaghmore head - which was caught on camera by Rosses Point Guesthouse partner Peter Martin in October 2010.
