We have a range of fishing rods and tackle available to hire, and you have a good chance of catching mackeral across the road from the guesthouse. If you'd like to try your hand at something a bit bigger we can help to arrange a trip with one of the local boat charter skippers.

Sligo Bay boasts varied fishing grounds filled with over 30 species of fish. The local charter boat skippers have decades of experience and know the best spots for whatever you want to catch, from flatties to mackerel to shark! The skippers can also arrange to drop you off near some great pubs and restaurants, where you can “cook your catch” on the bbq yourself, or have a top chef cook your catch to perfection, and serve it to you whilst you unwind in idyllic surroundings. You can also smoke your catch in local pub. It only takes about 20 minutes and is free of charge to customers!
